The tramadol that I'm taking is making me very constipated. Does anyone have any remedies or products that you recommend? I'm nearly able to not take them now and just stick to ibuprofen but I'm still not quite pain free yet.
I'm having trouble in that area too. I take three stool softeners a day, I try to get some exercise and eat a lot of fiber and fruit and some vegetables. I still only get one BM a day and it's usually not very soft! (tmi)
Sorry, I'm no help. Maybe stool softeners will help you?

I used Benefibre and Metamucil. They don't make benefibre anymore (I loved that stuff. sigh). but I've tried the stuff where you mix it in with water and it doesn't taste at all or thicken the liquid. I liked it. It gave me gas cramps though. But it worked, I boght the no name variety that comes in a green container.
Finally (Tmi alert) I got going. It took stool softener and miralax and two glycerin suppositories and holy crap (no pun intended), I finally got my bowels to wake up. My issue was that it was all soft but too much of it and my bowel had zero motility so it wasn't moving and making me miserable. Thank the Lord I finally went. I've never felt such relief!
