The last time I posted, Grayce was just getting into long stretches of sleep at night. Well, that completely went to crap the night before I had to get up early and dh had to go to work. I barely slept. She will sleep but only if dh takes her, puts her to sleep in the car seat and he brings the car seat into the bedroom when he leaves for work (4am). After that, I can't get her to sleep.

The only way I get any sleep is to nurse her in bed and let her sleep with me. That is what I did last night. I'm usually a stickler about my babies sleeping in their own beds, but that doesn't seem to be working with this LO. I have tried the swing, bouncer, car seat, swaddling, pacificer, etc.. and all it does is frustrate me when she wakes right back up or she gets even madder.

Do you think it's because I am the "milk lady" and she knows it she won't let me put her down?

Anyone else having sleep issues?

Omg yes!! We usually alternate good and bad nights. 2 nights ago she got up at 1245 and pretty much didnt go back to sleep until the next evening. We were toally against cosleeping but it is the only way we have been able to get any rest.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I keep reminding myself she is only two weeks old and give it time. But, man- it can get aggravating!

Well... it's changed again. Last night she slept really well and in her bed!! She was in the swing, and I woke her at 12pm to nurse and she ate and I put her to sleep in her bed and she slept until 4 am and she nursed and only woke up once after I put her in her bed. I rocked her and patted her back and she slept again until 8:30am... I don't mind if she wakes up to eat even every 3 hours. I just want her to go back to sleep. kwim??? it makes it SO much easier. My outlook is a lot better today.

You know... I had that c/s because she was sunny side up and her head was **** eyed?? Well, when she sleeps in the swing she always has her head way crooked and I have to fix it. I guess she is so used to being that way. poor baby.
