How are you all recovering? If this is your first c-section, how is everything going? If this isn't your first, how does it vary from your first?

My first c-section was a nightmare when it came to recovering. I was sore for weeks, and I of course over did it. This time around was a piece of cake! I had no issues, barely any pain, only within the first 2 weeks because I felt so good I over did it. But I healed and recovered so much better this time around.

This is my first c/s and I can't believe it is taking this long to recover! It's been 5 weeks and I still have this one section of my incision that bothers me a lot sometimes even when I am lying still. I still can't even imagine trying to vaccumn the floor.

This was my third c/s. My first was the most difficult recovery wise. The 2nd and 3rd were much easier. This time around, I felt totally healed around week 5.

This is my first and I anticipated the recovery to be worse than what it was. I stopped taking pain killers after 2-3 days and the soreness was pretty much gone by 3 weeks. I always think something is wrong because I am not in pain or sore. I have begun doing isometric abdominal exercises where I suck in my abs hold for 5 then release. I remember one lady telling me she couldn't even do a sit up after a C-section which makes me feel like I am some kind of freak of nature.

This was my first c-section and I was up and moving around by day 2 in the hospital. The pain was gone by week 2.

This is my first and it is so much harder than my vaginal births. The first 3 weeks were hard the. I started feeling better but now I have been sore again for the last 5 days. Saw my dr she thinks I have an infection. I am starting antibiotics. Plus I have a cold so basically I feel awful.
