It went quite well I guess. The nurse and doctor are both really happy with my sugar levels (they've been going down a little and are all well within allowable limits) and the dietician gave me a few extra tips for eating fewer calories while still getting in the nutrients.
I've been worried about my swelling in my hands and terrified of pre-e... so yesterday while I was out I checked my BP at the pharmacy and it said 118/80 so I was thrilled. Well today at the hospital it was 142/78 UGH! The nurse did say to keep checking it when I get a chance and to keep an eye on my swelling and my weight and if I think it's getting worse I should get to my doctor's office. She said if it gets worse I'll end up on bed rest but for now I'm fine.
My weight was up 6 lbs in 3 weeks and they said that's likely because of the water retention. Anyway... all in all not too bad - no pre-e yet - and I go back in 2 weeks.
