I took my one hour test yesterday and my number was 193. I had no idea what the numbers even meant etc... so I asked some questions and come to find out that that is a REALLY high number which kind of makes sense why my ob was so adament about me taking the 3 hour test first thing this morning. Let me tell you I still feel sick from that stuff. I was so dizzy and light-headed and ns. Are these bad signs? Anyone ever had such a high number with their one hour and pass the 3 hour?? I am so crossing my finger. I hope I hear about the results asap especially before the weekend.
That is a pretty high number. Mine was 150 something and I failed the 3 hr. I actually didn't even get to drink the stuff for the 3 hr because I failed the fasting number. I hope you get your results back quick!
193 is high.. I think I had similar number when I did the 1 hour test.. But when I did the 3 hour test, I failed the 2nd blood draw and barely passed the 3rd blood draw.. In the end I did have GD.

I think it's normal.. I had those same feelings at my 6 week post partum GTT test, which I passed.. It was because my body wasn't use to so much sugar at once due to being on the GD diet for 3 months.. But when I took it when I was pregnant, I had no symptoms.
My 1 hour was 178 and because I was only 26 weeks at the time, my doctor asked me if I wanted to do the 3 hour or start testing my blood sugars. She said if I did the 3 hour now and passed, she'd still make me take it again in a few weeks. So I said I'd go ahead and start testing my blood sugars. I've really only had to cut out really high sugar stuff so far, so I'm OK with that.
