SO I've been to 3 high risk OB specialists, my endo, and 2 dieticians..I've heard a couple different things here and I'm just curious what everyone's been told to do differently.

I've been told by ALL of them to test my sugars when I wake up, before and after (2 hours after) each meal.

My sugars should be <100 in the morning
and before meals should be below <100 but >70.

after meals my sugars should be between 70-120.

I'm on an insulin pump as well.

Sounds right to me..

When I had GD, I didn't have to check my blood sugars before meals. I was instructed to test my FBS and 2 hours after meals.. I was on insulin NPH only at night..

I have to test my sugars before meals so my pump knows how much insulin to give me. I have to anytime I eat for that reason. Since I have a lot of blood sugar lows, I have to test quite frequently.

I am supposed to be 65-95 in the morning and between 90-140 after meals (I test 1 hour after, not 2).
