I came here with my first son due in Nov 08. Now I have been told I failed my 1 hour. I told the office I didn't want to do the 3 hour since I already had it. I figured I had it again. They told me to start my diet and begin testing. This is a new office and they so the 1,800 calorie diet which I do not like. I am sticking to counting carbs which makes more sense to me.
Since I started testing my numbers have been great. I haven't been very strict, mainly because I wanted to test my limits since I didn't take the 3 hour.
In my first pregnancy I could hardly have 30 carbs for breakfast without having a high number. I tried 56 or so and I only tested at a 96. I had 70 carbs for lunch and tested at 123. And I have been eating with totals of around 60 carbs for lunches/ dinner and testing in the 90's. ANything lower and I test in the 70's. My fasting has been in the 70's.
DO you think I am just borderline? I had to be very strict last time and maintain a schedule, eat no more than 45 carbs per meal (30 breakfast and 15 snacks).
