I can pretty much guess where my numbers will be, depending on what I eat, if I worked out, if I'm stressed, etc. So I'm getting to be such a slacker with testing lately.
I'm just bored of it.
I wonder if I can request to skip specific tests now, like the after-breakfast of after-lunch. I've almost never gone over the 130 mark on those. Have any of you been able to drop some of the daily testing?
I never asked, but I don't see why not. I am getting bored with mine too. I was really worried about it before, so I wanted to test all the time, but just this last week I've been much less interested. Hopefully I'll be done soon!
im 36 weeks now, and for the past 4 weeks, they cut my tests down to before and after dinner only...its been so much easier to handle. I remember all the testing i was doing before really had me stressed, now i don't really notice it....
only thing is, it was kind of a blessing in disguise having to do so many tests as it really kept my weight in check...i was only at 25 pound weight gain 4 weeks ago...and since my testings got cut back, i picked up about 6 pounds. I would imagine its because i took it for granted and ate a bit too much earlier in the day. Baby is only weighing in at an estimated 6.5lbs right now...so it seems like everything is ok anyways.
