Hi everyone! I'm currently pregnant with my 3rd child and have been diagnosed with GD. I had it with my first son, but not my second. I'm kind of struggling with my diet and was wondering if maybe I could get some recipes of what everyone eats for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Thanks in advance.

I try to keep my protein up and my high sugar carbs down (breads/pastas). Your dietician should be able to give you carb counts for each meal, and usually some sort of food plan to go along with that.
I got dx with DS1 at 26 weeks, and went on insulin two weeks later, and I found my glucs much harder to control with him. This 2nd pregnancy, they skipped the gtt and called me gd at 4 weeks, I went on night insulin at 5 weeks and am still only on that. I do glucs four times a day, but it seems that catching it earlier is giving me much better control.
It does suck being dx earlier than most moms here, but it seems to be for the better in my case anyhow.
Right now I'm at for carb counts: bkfs 45, snack 15, lunch 45-60, snack 15, dinner same at lunch, and bedtime protein plus 15g of carbs--but your dietician should have specific numbers for you
