Thought i would let you ladies know that my son Henry James was born April 27th at home in the water. He was a healthy 8 lb 10 oz and 22 inches long. For those of you who don tknow i was diagnosed with GD with my first..on insulin...induced for a "big" baby...she was 7 lbs.. This time i chose to have a midwife and homebirth. After studying GD and taking my FBS for a month my Midwife gave me the clear to stop testing. If i were seeing an OB i would have been diagnosed with GD again. Is started the Brewers Diet early in my pregnancy and was always mindful of carbs and proteins. I didnt test because it made me nervous. I have a healthy, not fat, no bs issues baby and had a very amazing homebirth! Do your research, find providers you trust, never loose faith in your body, and nourish yourself with good food!
