I was thinking....is there any info that anyone is aware of that suggests that gestational diabetes is more common in women who are carring boys versus girls? I know that it is technically "our" bodies that are not responding to the glucose, but I just wondered if different hormones that are produced from having a boy or a girl play any part in who gets diagnosed more?

I have had it with all my pregnancies and I have an equal amount of boys and girls

I should mention that after my 9th I kept the diabetes full time.

well i would like another but the fact is I am old now. I have been pregnant twice this year already. I had a 10 week miscarriage in March and just this week lost a 5 week pregnancy. I figure I will try a couple more times before I give up hope.

I am ok with what I have tho. Its just this pregnancy addiction is hard to give up.
