I thought one hour after eating meant, one hour after I finished my meal. (like the glucose test, your hour starts after you finish drinking, not when you start drinking) then I just read on here somewhere that they start their hour when they start eating. Is that right, have I been dong this wrong. To me that wouldnt make since unless you eat really fast. I try to eat slower so I get full faster. What do yall do??

Yep, I was taught by my dietician that you start timing when you start eating. I'd always forget when I started, so I'd set a timer for 1hr, and start the timer when I sat down to eat. And don't rush, just eat normally. As long as you are eating the correct amount of carbs, you should be fine.

Thank you everyone for responding! I took my after dinner level an hour after i started and it was actually about 9 or 10 points lower than than it has been so I am very excited about that, even though my day levels arent my problem right now. Hope it keeps up!
