Really I am going to have to ban myself from googling. I had severe diarrhea yesterday afternoon/evening after spending my whole morning throwing up everything. I thought it was a simple GI bug or morning sickness. Now I am spotting pinkish/brown. I googled (BAD I know...) and from what I've read there seems to be a link between having diarrhea and then miscarrying. Has anyone ever had this happen to them? I am kinda worried now. If it turns red I will go in. I am trying not to freak out because I have experienced brown and even red spotting during pregnancy before and everything turned out fine. BUT, after googling now I am worrying myself into a tizzy. Add to that the cramps I am experiencing - also normal for this point in pregnancy though - and I am really worried. Ugh I hate google.

If it makes you feel better, I have gotten diarrhea in every single pregnancy so far, and *knock on wood*, it's never been an indication of a loss for me. It's pretty normal to spot after a BM and I would assume it is even more normal when you're stomach is that irritated.
That being said, the other day I was feeling an uncomfortable amount of pressure down in that region, so of course I consulted the trusty internet search engine doctor, only to read about this kind of pressure possibly being associated with miscarriage. I'll confess, I panicked a little. After I started passing a ridiculous amount of gas, it all made sense - got myself all worked up for nothing.
Hang in there - more than likely, everything is just fine.
This is probably TMI, but while most women complain of slight (or worse) constipation during pregnancy, I have always experienced the opposite. It comes in handy for that painful first BM after baby is born, but otherwise it's just annoying LOL
I hope for your sake that you just have a temporary thing and it goes back to normal for you!
