So I normally have pretty low blood pressure. Always under the normal.
I bent over to get something out of a cabinet earlier and next thing I knew I was seeing squiggles and stars in my vision. If you've kept up with my posts this has been a totally different pregnancy for me than before and I've had some light headed spells ect. Blood work normal and waiting on echo results although cardiologist said my heart she be my least concern.
Anyways I read that seeing floaters or flashing lights is a sign of high blood pressure and even preeclampsia but I'm only 17 weeks. I've been having headaches but not everyday. Had headaches with my last pregnancy. I'm also only 115 lbs and 21 yrs old so I'm generally healthy.
Just wondering if its possible to have had a sudden change in blood pressure and if I should be worried even though I'm less than 20 weeks. I don't think I'm swollen.
I think the bending over sent blood rushing to your head and might have temporarily caused the blood pressure to go up in your brain?? I am no doctor but I think this is the probable explanation for it. I would watch if it happens often and would also let your Dr. know just for peace of mind.
