I am really confused about my pants. For a while my work pants were too tight. I could BARELY button them, and I couldn't breathe.

So I bought some maternity ones. SOOO comfortable. Well they are in the wash, so I was going to wear my other ones, with the belly band thing.

But they FIT! I could button them no problem. Is this normal? Maybe since I started out chubby I am evening out or something?

I just don't feel and look pregnant at all. Just fat!

Are they lower rise?? Maybe the baby has moved up so you have more room lower??
Or maybe you were more bloated before.

I hear you on the "just fat" thing. I'm right there with you. We'll get there though!

You are most likely less bloated now and more baby.

agreed. you probably aren't as bloated as you were before and the baby has probably moved out of the pelvic cavity so if they were low rise, they would fit better,

A friend of mine actually wore her american eagle low rise jeans her ENTIRE pregnancy!! Me on the other hand, after like 11-12 weeks, I am in maternity clothes

That makes sense! It was just so strange to put them on expecting them not to fit and POOF.. they button! They aren't really low rise.. but I guess its the bloating.

I am partly kinda sad because I thought maybe I was getting an actual belly, then it went away. Oh well.. just gotta wait a bit.

I haven't even tried my regular clothes in weeks - maybe I should.....I was super bloated early on and can tell it is subsiding now. I can't wait to really look pregnant too - that is my favorite - and it will happen soon now that we are all in the second trimester

I vote on belly bloat too. I think I was almost bigger at 6-8 weeks then I am now because the bloating was SO bad...Hang in there - this is the trimester where we will start looking more pregnant and less fat.
