Asking what's so funny Maria? What could be so hilarious at 8:30 in the morning? Well I just got a ******* phone call from my OB's office that I don't get an ultrasound on Thursday because they made a mistake. HAHAHHA, isn't that SO FUNNNNNY!? SO for an entire MONTH I have been thinking I was going to find out the gender on the 28th, and I had something to look forward to. Do you know how excited an thrilled I have been? This is all I have been talking about for 4 weeks, I am absolutely CRUSHED. I haven't felt so destroyed in a LONG time. I am about to start bawling my eyes out. That means I wont get to find out the gender or get another ultrasound again until I am 21 weeks. 21 WEEEEEEEEEKS. 4 more ******* weeks. I can't even think straight right now.

Oh no, Maria. I am so sorry, I would be crushed too! There's no way they'll bring you in after all, since it was scheduled anyway?

No, she called me and was like I am sorry since you had the ultrasound the last time you wont be getting one this time, I was under the impression you hadn't had it. So she moved all of my times around.

That really sucks!!!

You could always book an elective ultrasound - a quick session to find out the gender isn't expensive at all. I'm going to do it in a couple of weeks.

OMG I am so sorry.. I would have been pissed. It was their screw up.. too bad.. do my u/s anyways!

I won't be getting another u/s until around 19/20 weeks, so I am doing an elective one this week. To me its worth the $75.

That is so unfair to dangle a carrot and then yank it away like that! I am so sorry Maria...

Yeah I'm super upset about it. I really dont have the extra money to get an elective ultrasound, I'll look around but I might just have to wait another MONTH. I cringe everytime I think about it.

That really sucks. I love ultrasounds! I've had 3 so far and only 13 weeks. I get another one at 16 weeks again at 21 and 26 weeks. High risk pregnancies here get a lot of ultrasounds.

That stinks
I"m sorry you have to wait after thinking that you were going to get one so soon!

It probably doesn't make you feel any better since you had your hopes up, but I still have to wait another 6 weeks...and we're not having our gender reveal party until almost 2 weeks after that! So I've actually got another 7.5weeks until I find out!

I am so sorry if it makes you feel any better I never found out with my first 2 until 28 weeks...and my second even though I had u/s after u/s due to bleeding I didn't find out the gender until she was born (stubborn baby and still is!)

That sucks big time.
I thought I was going to get to do my U/S at 18w-my next MW visit, but then she decided to make the U/S at my next visit and have it done at 20w. I was disappointed and frustrated having to wait 2 weeks...I can't imagine having to wait 4 more weeks than I had hoped!!

yeah it is really frustrating. It wouldn't have been as frustrating if I would have known from the beginning that I was going to have to wait until I was 21 weeks to find out the gender..
