So I went in for my first appointment last month and got an u/s because they could not get baby on the Doppler. So I only saw the doctor in the u/s room where we talked about the MaterniT21 test. So I went back to the room an talked to the nurse about it. They came in and did the blood draw. I was stressing it.
So I went in for my appointment this month anticipating my results... no test. So I have to have another blood draw and instead of knowing at 13 weeks if there is an issue I have to wait until 17 weeks.
That sucks that they are not clear about informing you what the blood draw is for! Had they been clear about that you would have asked them to do the MaterniT21 as well right then!! ugh I am sorry you have to wait longer!
Thats very frustrating. Why did they think you asked about it?! I hate when you have to remind a doctor of something.. thats not my job. (had to do that a lot at the RE's office... don't get me wrong.. loved the doc.. he was just a space cadet sometimes)
