Ladies who have or have had SPD during past pregnancies, how are you feeling now?
The pain is getting worse for me and I can sense the change in my gait - I am waddling even though I don't have much belly weight to warrant that yet. Sitting flat on the floor for a few minutes triggers it bad for me and I invariably have bad pain that night and the next day. Also the pain is fluctuating on a day to day basis, like it would hurt a lot one day and the next day I'd feel ok. Kind o how my nausea is these days...I think the hormones are to blame of course. But still overall it is getting worse the further along I get in this pregnancy.
I looked up some chiropractors in my area and none of them have any reviews I looked at their websites and picked the one I felt most comfortable with - a woman. I emailed her describing my condition and asking if she had experience treating pregnant women. Hopefully, if she responds, I will be setting up an appointment next week.
I had it badly with my #2 and #3. This time it's not constant and not nearly as severe. I really hope the chiropractor can treat you because it made a world of difference for me with my last pregnancy! I also found that going for a swim or soaking in a deep tub helps a lot! Good luck lady!!!
oh no, I'm sorry you have that. How super uncomfortable. I had it really bad AFTER one of my births (that'll happen sometimes when you give birth to a 9 lbs 11 oz baby with a giant GD head!). Sometimes I would forget and pull a chair in with my foot - YOW. I think because of that birth my pubic bone is weakened so it does hurt sometimes when I lay on my side for a while and then get up. It's like I can feel it shift. But it's not bad right now at all (yet - hopefully it will stay this way). I'd mention it to your OB and see if they have any suggestions as I know it can be very painful.

I'm dealing with it, I've been meaning to go to the chiropractor, but the only one around here is a male, and the thought makes me so uncomfortable that I keep putting it off.
I've been noticing and avoiding triggers. There are days I can't avoid them and it gets really bad, but some days it's okay.
