I have supposed to do a slow cooker whole chicken, but I didn't get it going before work, so I think I'll probably just have salad and a "baked" (microwaved) potato. I'm alone most nights cuz hubs and I are usually on opposite shifts, and I find that being my go to meal a lot. I will definitely be getting the chicken into the pot tonight though so I can just take it out of the fridge and turn it on tomorrow morning. love coming home to dinner that's already ready!

One thing that I do is spend a day searching the internet for freezer/crock pot meals. Then, I sift through them all and choose a variety of ones I think I will like. I compile a shopping list, and then spend a day making them or, make one meal for dinner and freeze the other one. That helps on those days where you can't decide what to make- just grab a pre-made meal!

btw:. for dinner, I'm going to make parmesan crusted chicken (it's off the Hellmann's mayo jar). I've made it before and it's good. Not sure about sides.. prob. rice a roni noodles and mixed veggies.

Tonight I'm baking breaded pork chops, roasted red potatoes and serving that with a mixed greens salad.

We are either going to have chicken "cacciatore" or cheesy ham and scalloped potatoes. I put cacciatore in quotes because I am just going to kind of wing it, so it won't ACTUALLY be cacciatore but something similar.

I love pinterest for finding meals. I just go on there and browse through my friends boards for recipes or if something in particular sounds good, I search for it.

I am by myself a lot too, so its usually whatever I find in the cabinet. Maybe brocc and cheese soup.

I really need to start cooking.. but after I get home from work my brain is too tired

Grilled chicken with corn, and potato salad.

I have been craving corn on the cob and shishkabobs for a week now and no grocery stores sell them because "it's not summer" grrr
