I have an OB check up in a few minutes.
I've only had 2 contractions since my appointment 2 weeks ago and no spotting so I'm hoping I get good news! I also hope they give me a prescription for this yeast infection that won't go away! I was told by the nurse when i called sbout it to just eat activia since I'm on pelvic rest, I guess they didn't want me to use the suppositories that you buy at the store. Needless to say that didn't work.
I may get another sono to check in my placenta! That would be nice but I Won't be disappointed if I don't since I feel movement most of the day.

Good luck! It sounds like it should go well.

FWIW, Activia sucks. I'm assuming what she was getting at was the probiotic benefit which absolutely can help a yeast infection, but the amount of living probiotics in Activia is so low that you would need to eat like, gallons of yogurt for it to make a difference. If they do want you to stick with the probiotic route, I would pick up something from a Vitamin Shoppe or other health food/supplement store. I would also go for a refrigerated probiotic over a shelf-stable one because refrigeration means a lot more of the bacteria will be alive and well (dead probiotics aren't helpful). We use Garden of Life RAW brand probiotics here for various issues and have been happy with the results and quality.

Still on pelvic rest
I'm disappointed, missing intamacy with my husband. Oh well, keeping baby safe is most important. He also told me I could use miconozol cream but not the applicator to cure my yeast issue. He said not to be surprised if I keep getting them, he said the mixture of esteogen, temp being higher because of pregnancy and me walking a few times a week he said its just an ideal environment for yeast to grow. Joy!
Heart beat was fine. Said it was a boy heart beat 144
But baby is a girl! Lol

Sorry you are dealing with that. I have had a yeast infection before and it was a bad one. Nothing yet *knock on wood*. Hope the cream helps you out!

I think my girl's HB is a little lower now too. Haha. I think she is just lazy or something

Sorry to hear about the pelvic rest but congratulations on your baby girl! Did you want to be added to the gender teams list? And if so, do you want your first name included or just your username?

It's stickied at the top of the forum and is basically just an official list for which gender our DDC mamas are having.
