I bought maternity shorts today and they're already too tight.

Seriously. I'm only 19 weeks. This does NOT bode well for my summer!

How annoying! I'm sorry. I've been holding off on things other than shirts and dresses because I'm terrified of the same thing.

I was in my 2nd trimester during the summer with DS and my fingers are crossed that my shorts from then will fit this time around...I definetly do not want to spend any more $$ on maternity clothes.

also, I find my mat. clothes stretch out with wear...maybe your shorts will do the same?

I find putting clothes in the dryer and on warm water shrinks them, so maybe that's an idea to keep clothes from shrinking in the mat department. I am so afraid this pregnancy that I will need to buy bigger. I have leggings that are on the verge of being tight. I can go and rebuy them. I refuse to buy shorts just yet. ugh

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I will be living in dresses. I'm overweight to begin with and carry a lot of weight in my midsection. My one pair of maternity pants I have so far, is starting to not fit well in the belly- it stretching but it keeps rolling and stuff, and just isn't very comfortable- but they were SUPER comfy when I first bought them 6 weeks ago. But, the legs of the pants are HUGE on me, so I really can't go UP a size without looking like I'm in MC Hammer pants or something LOL. So, I'm glad for a spring/summer pregnancy because at least sundresses are an option? I already figured I'd mostly wear them, but now I might not even have the choice of pants. grrr
