I have seriously been soooo busy lately with work and trying to take care of the house, bills etc and haven't had time to take any bump pics. Normally I have taken at least a couple by now (I don't show until 2nd trimester usually).

I am really going to try to take one this weekend though!

I took one a week ago but only because my MIL kept asking for a picture for her scrapbook page. A lot of people still don't know I'm even pregnant lol

I'm still confused by the month deal. When people say the month, do they refer to the month they're in or how many they are complete?

When I go by months, I say the month I'm in but I normally just say weeks when someone asks

I've taken loads of pictures. I just wanted to comment on the months/weeks thing - I'm not totally sure how months are supposed to be counted. I usually say weeks too, and only think about months if someone gives me a blank stare and asks how many months that is.

Technically, if you consider 4 weeks to be a month, the average pregnancy lasts closer to 10 months than 9. Going by calendar month, it's still a little longer than 9 months (on average) but only by a week or so.

I only took one because I had friends in other states asking to see my belly. Other than that, I've been running from the camera because I'm not looking too great these days. :/

I've been going by months complete assuming 4.5 weeks per month, but I'm sure that's not the norm...

This is how I've always done it...Right now I'm almost 25 weeks. If someone were to ask me, I'd say that I was 6 months along. Maybe at 26 weeks, I'd say 6 and 1/2 months...If I responded with something like "25 weeks", I would get a lot of puzzled looks.

Okay so when you register as a patient at my hospital and are a L&D patient, they send you weekly emails as part of Baby Club....so cool...lots of other perks too!

Anywho, I just got an email about my 7th month and it says the 7th month is Weeks 25-28....so odd! I never would have thought that I was in my 7th month!

Wikipedia shows the week by week breakdown for a 9 month pregnancy, and it doesn't break down neatly. According to wiki, which is always a good source ha ha, month 7 starts during 27 weeks and ends mid 31 week. Different doctors have told me different things. It is so much easier to say how many weeks you are!
