Last night I had my first dream about this little one!! It was kinda weird. She was on the bed and I was sitting in a chair or something reaching for her. She was covered in that vernix stuff and I think at one point she was wrapped in a blanket as well. She was awfully chubby for a newborn I think that later on in the night (even after waking) I continued to have labor related dreams. I don't think I even had a dream earlier on about gender or anything-so I think this is for real the first dream I had that had anything to do with the baby.
I've had little dreams here and there - most of them happy, a couple of them scary (one where I was miscarrying and another where I hadn't but the doctors were essentially telling us that our baby was sick and she wouldn't survive in the outside world). I did have one last week, but it's more comical to try to explain than cute.
I dreamed that I gave birth to her underwater. On a submarine. With windows, that you could sometimes open but other times you weren't supposed to, and the captain was very strict about it. Yeah, I don't know.
Awwww!!! I love baby dreams! I had one a few weeks ago and it was so vivid when I woke up I felt like I had met my baby! It was of me delivering and she was a girl with dark black hair but had lighter skin than my son. She weighed 5lbs 2oz and we named her Georgia! In my dream I was delivering at 27 weeks though so I think I knew that didnt make sense that she was so big, because when I took her to the pediatrician I put her in a freezer zip-loc bag and put her in my purse. So it was a normal dream up until that point! lol
I haven't had any baby dreams.. but I had u/s one. In the u/s she had an elf face and was counting her fingers.. so odd.
