We have a list but haven't decided on which one yet. At first it really stressed me out not being able to call her by name but then I imagined what it would be like for DH to help deliver her and to hand her to me and tell me her name. It sounds romantic I guess. I don't know if we will actually wait that long but I am not as anxious about making a decision anymore.
To add on to my last comment... I was perfectly fine with waiting until after the baby is born... but since i had my pregnancy class (a doctor said her client waited 6weeks after baby was born to name her!) I am STRESSING OUT. I mentioned 6 names to DH and he didnt like any of them. I would like to have a name for my daughter the same day she is born!
My husband is a JR. and has always wanted to continue the tradition, so when we found out the gender was boy we didn't even need to debate! John Howard III. But, we also did settle on a girl name: Cordelia Elaine, so even if we have a surprise, we're all set. lol.
First OB Visit: 02/19/2013
Dating Ultrasound: 02/20/2013 Got to see the baby move! HB 170!
Level 2 Ultrasound: 4/24/2013 It's a boy! HB 148!
We agree on boy names pretty easily girl names are horrible for us. Tessa was not named until we were leaving the hospital, and even then we did not agree on her name. In fact I names her Audrey Nicole. There are still hard feelings. Glad we are getting a boy.
Me and my partner have it settled for both boy and girl (because this terror does NOT open it's legs) but it took us a while and a few arguments to settle it still! In the end I chose the first name for a boy, he chose the middle name. For the girl he chose the first name, is using his mothers middle name and then my mothers middle name (poor thing if it's a girl it's got 3 names to remember AND the last name)
Take your time though, it's a huge decision to make and it will always be with your child! My old best friend (before she went crazy) only picked a name after her daughter was born.
We don't...I had a list and I gave it to DH last night. He shot down all but one. Actually even I wasn't in love with any of the names in my list...we'll see if the one name DH didn't shoot down grows on us...or we'll have to come up with some more to choose from...We have one middle name picked out, but it really depends on whether the first name we pick out will flow with it. Else we'll have to look for a diff middle name too!! Ours has to be Indian first name, American Christian middle name ...plus the first name should be easy to pronounce and short....Aaaagh so tough.
we have no name, not even close to having a name and I am starting to stress about it...I have a couple of names I like (unsure if I love) but DH is just meh on all of them. So need to get inspired quickly because I def. don't want to be dealing with it right before baby is born.

We've got ours picked. It took a lot of persuading but DH caved and agreed to the name I absolutely love. Now there's no changing it, even if I bring up other ideas he says "Nope! We're naming her ****** and that's it!"
