What kind of home do you live in? Single-family home, duplex, apartment, trailer, etc? Do you own or rent?

We just moved from a 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment that was 600 sq feet into a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom townhouse that's approx 1400 square feet. We are renting for two more years. So nice to have the space now!

DH and I bought our house when we first got married. It looked like crap. He and his Dad tore down half of the house and rebuilt that half and remodeled the other. It so does not look like the same house. We have 3 br but they are kinda long and skinny so in trying to find room for beds has been odd. (our rooms are in old part of the house.) We have 2 bathrooms thankfully! We are hoping to move eventually though to a house that has maybe 1 more bedroom and bath since we are kinda outgrowing this one-5 kids in this house is going to get cramped

We own a 4 bedroom 3 bath home in the Suburbs of DC. It's an older home (was all we could afford at the time) and wish we had more room, but it's too expensive to move!

DH and I own a 4,100 (or 4,400 - idk?) sq ft, 4 bedroom 4.5 bath house in Northern VA (suburb of DC like iCathy mentioned). We've been there for almost 5 years. It's a little big for just the 2 of us and our 2 dogs, but now that we're having a little babe (and 1 more probably), it will probably feel less roomy with toys and baby stuff around. We plan on this home being the home where we raise our kids in until they go off to college.

We own a 2bd 1ba house... we're in the process of remodeling the basement so it'll be 4bd 2ba when we're done. DH bought the house in 2003, before we were together.

We rent. We're ina two bedroom apartment right now. We will be moving in the spring though, hoping to find something slightly bigger! We will probably be in the renters trap for another few years unless we win the lotto, lol.

we own a 4bd/3.5ba house and love it - although i'm already wishing for more space it's terrifying how much room kids furniture & toys takes up...but for soon to be 2 munchkins we'd probably be happy in a house 1/2 this size.

We had this house built about 7 years ago. It's 5 bed 3.5 baths, but we have sort of a small yard - maybe 1/10 of an acre or something like that. It's a great area but if I had it to do all over again, I would have purchased a plot and just built the house on my own - this neighborhood association and their restrictions are plucking my nerves!

We currently rent a 3br 1ba duplex but it looks like we're finally able to buy a house now, hoping to move in August/September. We're looking at 4br and at least 2 bathrooms...I got up to pee the other night and TWO of my girls were ahead of me for the bathroom!!

We are in a 3 bedroom house that we rent (as I'm 21 and my partner is 23, so it's a bit soon to buy). It's a decent place but I'm starting to feel a bit claustrophobic as we still have our flatmate living here and all my hormones are telling me to set the house up perfectly for the little one!

We rent a 3bed 1.5bath house. I think it's about 1800 square feet? The non-master bedrooms are small, but it's got a big utility room, a big fenced in backyard and a wrap around porch, so I LOVE it! We're a military family, so not sure how long we will be in this area.
