Had my 33 week OB check up. My dr is getting a thyroid check as I keep loosing weight, palpitations and more JOY add one more thing to the list ! I lost another pound !! BP normal. I mentioned the pressure and spotting ive been getting and was ordered to NOT call triage but to walk in and demand someone tend to me as they dont have my file on hand 24/7 so i could be anyone. Dr discussed my scan we had July 16 and referred me to MFM closer to home which makes me feel better as I was not happy about leaving them in the first place. Waiting on a call to have another scan by them in the next couple weeks. He then proceeded to tell us the risks with me being put on insulin and more and we discussed that if I make it to aug 23 without having baby that we will book induction date for the following week as the odds of still birth with everything going on is high. He also did tell me that most DS babies go into distress during labor and if I'd be willing to allow a c section if needed. I agreed. I'm not put on bedrest yet but if the spotting and pressure continue I will be put on bedrest. I see my OB two more times befor induction is set! I'm excited and worried how it will all go given the risks this pregnancy already has. I dont think I left anything out, if i did i will add in comments. if anyone has anything to ask you can ask. 4-5 more weeks left.

I don't have any questions. But I just want to show my support. You are handling this awesome. Your doctor also seems to be on top of things. I hope the thyroid thing comes back negative. I can't believe in 4 - 5 weeks you will have your little baby girl!

No questions either...lol. Just wanted to say you're almost there and have done a fantastic job of getting Alyssa this far. Just a few more weeks and the September DDC will be spitting out our babies

You are one tough Momma!

I'm glad the doctors seem to be so on top of everything. Soon she'll be here and all of it will all have been worth it twice over!

Are you managing your GD with diet then? What risks did he tell you there were with the insulin? Are those risk specific to your situation? I'm just so nervous about being on the insulin my self. Ugh.

I get told that all the time. I am glad you guys are supportive to. Its still a scary ordeal. But I will not use the term my mother did and say its been a nightmare of a pregnancy

Um, YIKES!

My doctor never said a word about side effects. I consulted Dr. Google and it seems like some say there are and some say there aren't. I'm gonna have to give her the third degree at my next appointment.

It's only a nightmare pregnancy if you believe it is. A tough pregnancy is one thing and lady, you have definitely had a tough one. But your little babe is going to be sooo worth it!

I don't think I could say it better than this. I'm glad that your doctors are being so attentive! Hang in there, mama! She'll be here soon!

You're so close, and thankfully your doctor(s) are on top of everything and managing your situation proactively...I know how hard it is to be constantly forced to think of all the negative "could happen" situations and it drains a certain amount of excitement and fun from what should be a really happy time for you, but this will all be a distant memory when you're holding your baby girl in your arms finally. Hang in there!!
