Okay ladies, so I was thinking about this the other day. Has anyone heard of or used a timing app specifically designed to time contractions? In this tech savy world I would think one exists. Has anyone come across one? It would be kind of neat (and super helpful) if it keeps track of your contractions and shows you trends etc.

Yup I have a good one! The app name is "contraction timer" the logo is orange and is a clock that looks like a baby. If you have a phone that you can download apps this is a great free one!

BabyCenter has a MyPregnancy app that includes a contraction timer (it also gives you little fun facts about each week of pregnancy, a kick counter and a few other miscellaneous things). It's free.

Thanks ladies! I think having a contraction timer on my phone would be way easier then checking my phone/watch and then writing it down..an app would be 1 less step.

I am going to look for it on my phone today!

I haven't used the timer option on the mypregnancy app yet, but I really like the app in general!

I have this one. It's really easy - you just tap it when you feel a contraction start, then tap again to stop it. When you open it back up, you will have something to refer to if you need to call your doctor.

Gotta love technology...I was doing this with pen and paper with my other babies.
