No progress other than baby's head has engaged. He didn't mention induction this time which is probably good because I think I would have said yes. I'm just spent.
He gave me a 30-40 % chance that she would come in the next week.

Baby's head being engaged is a really good sign!!

I know it seems discouraging that there is nothing going on with your cervix, but things can change overnight with that Don't be too discouraged yet mama!

I'm saying something to my doctor tomorrow about getting induced next week. I dont even care, I'm done. I dont want to wait two more weeks, I'm over this. I signed up for 9 months not 10, she's fine i want her out.

Don't count on an induction if you haven't dilated or effaced. It probably won't work.
I'm at a 2 and I called back to ask wha he thought about it since we didn't discuss it he said my cervix wasn't ready yet. Which I absolutely do not want an induction without a favorable cervix that happened last time and it was very long and painful.

I really want to hold out until her due date

Not much longer, ladies. Your babies know when to be born. I promise.

Deep down I know an induction is not what's best. It's just a little tempting.
I really do want the spontaneous water break or the increase in contractions

I need to keep reminding myself how horrible my last induction was

I really want that too, but I'm sick of this. I'm going to ask/beg him if he says no then there's nothing i can do about it but im honestly over this. It's not fun, its not beautiful, its horrible and I'm praying he says yes!

I get how you feel, the end of pregnancy is pretty miserable. We are almost there, though! My doctor wanted to check me today and I said thanks, but no thanks. I find it extremely discouraging to find little to no progress being made, so I just simply refuse to be checked at all until I'm in labor. But that's just me.
