well i had my appointment today. my bp was 149/96 and now she said my cervix is high and closed on the inside and its thick now instead of thinning like last week. we set up for me to have an nst tommorow at 10 am and another one on monday at 10 am. i go back for my 39 week appointment on tuesday morning. induction is set for 6 am on wednesday. its because my bp is so high. we talked that if she will not come out vaginally i will have a c-section. i get my epi as soon as i get there and that from my doctors orders. she said she doesn't want me to suffer through it like i did with abbys induction. i didn't get my epi till after being in pain with her for 12 hours. so wednesday is the Big day! she explained everything to dh. we were trying not to have an induction but there is no option now and its maditory. oh i get to do the lovely urine collection for the next 24 hours since there was protein in my urine and had blood drawn to make sure i don't have pre eclampsia. please keep me and amber in your prayers.
Will keep you in prayers! I think getting the epi right away is a great idea. My last one was induced and they said I could have it put in as soon as I got there. They just wouldn't start the meds yet. I personally don't like the idea of them sticking a needle in my spine when I am in terrible pain. I'd rather do it before, so I know I will be able to sit still. My experience was wonderful and I felt very little pain at all even though the epi only numbed half of my body. Praying the same happens for you.
