How is your LO sleeping at night? Miah is 6 weeks old and she wakes up usually twice a night to be fed, but sometimes I get lucky and she wakes up once! She is staying up more in the day and sleeping more at night so I love that!
Peyton is 3 weeks old tomorrow and has two 2-4 hour awake times a day and they can be early morning, late at night or hopefully at lunch time but she still isn't in a routine yet. She usually wakes up twice during the night but we have had one night where she just woke up the once and other nights where she will wake up 3 times, it's just a learning curve really!
I'm still waking Phoebe up to feed. She'll be 3 weeks old on Sunday. I give her a 4 hour rest at night, but it's three hours other than that. She will have an hour here and there where she's awake, but she always seems to fall asleep while I'm feeding her. My lactation consultant gave us the go ahead today to let her wake us at night (unless she sleeps longer than 5 hours), so we'll see how that goes tonight. She was jaundiced when she was born, so she was sleepy from the get go and is still learning how to tell when she's tired.
we havent really "enforced"any schedules since we got home(the nicu made us while she was there..) but I'd say after the first week, she would eat around 10, go to sleep (we'd go to sleep after her) she'd wake up around 1 to eat, and again at 4 (but DH has to get up then for work so we are always up around then anyway). Now she has been skipping her 1 am wake up and waking up at 2:30 or 3, and then out again til 7. Then she will eat again and her ideal day is getting out of bed around 10. If only I could stay in bed with her until then...lol.
Miah sleeps 6-7 hours every night now. I'll put her to bed at 10-11 and she will wake up at 5-6 and I'll be up with her an hour and she will go back to sleep for another 2 hours. I have her eating 3oz every two-three hours during the day (4oz when she wakes up in the morning)
Wow she is doing good! Peyton can still vary between 3-5 hours at night time at the moment so we never really know how much sleep we are going to get haha. She seems to go down for her longest sleep between 8-10pm but that is because she is awake from around 4pm till then.
