We went for the u/s and they couldn't find a heartbeat. I should be 8 weeks, they kept asking if my dates could be off a few weeks (they are not). There was a sac, but couldn't really see anything in it, so looks like the baby stopped growing a few weeks ago. I go in tomorrow for counseling for the D&C and blood-work to check hcg levels, but I know what they will find.

I too, lost a baby last Sept. It was devastating. My husband and I went to counseling together and it really helped. I suggest going with your partner immediately.
