I wanted to get a fruit size comparison to my little gummy bear (since it'd be a pretty huge gummy bear by now!) and looked up 10 weeks. Kumquat? Prune? Pfft - give me a fruit or veggie that I can get behind! I don't know about prunes, I'm 29 years old! Next week is lime. I know about limes!

Also, I saw one chart where medium shrimp came AFTER lime. What kind of mutant shrimps are they eating, or dwarf limes are they finding at the grocery store??

Anybody have a better chart for non-experienced mini fruit eaters?

Lol I think you're my new pretend online BFF, because you just make me laugh so much.

I don't even know what a kumquat is. It sounds dirty.

Yay!

Yes it does sound a lil' dirty. Speaking of dirty, I wrote out a whole thank you note to my SIL who sent me a nice new mommy package in the mail, with a maternity shirt, a chewable beaded necklace, and a mommy baby book. It read soooo perverted until I added the little carrot with MATERNITY jammed in there. "Thank you so much for your sweet package. I know I'll be in that shirt sooner rather than later."

Challenge accepted! Okay so it's not fruit but still, according to this, baby is the size of the head of a hammer.... atleast it's not a kumquat? lol

The olives I was used to had blue cheese in them....

That for fathers comparison is awesome. Your baby is the size of a boob...

can't help you finding a good comparison, but I can say that we have an indoor limequat tree (don't ask - it was my husband's idea when I wanted a kaffir lime for cooking Thai food). So I do know what a semi-grown limequat looks like

I love that link! Ha!

Pregnancy Week 13:
Need some gas? Your wife has
some. Your baby is now the
size of the gas cap on your car.

I thought the 10 incher one was funny too. I think my DH will get a kick out of this!

Seriously, how is a shrimp bigger than a lime? Maybe they are just measuring length as opposed to volume.
