DD turned 4 on Saturday. We have been talking about the size of our family for a few weeks. She thinks it is to small. Although, she didn't want a little brother or sister... she asked that we adopt a big brother and a big sister for her.
We sat her down and told her and she was excited, but then she didn't believe us. We convinced her and then she got upset because when the baby got older, it was going to think it was #1. LOL
Now she is thrilled. I told her her job is to tell people, so she is excited about that. She will have input on the name... but I may have kind of told her we put all the names we like on a list and one gets selected from there and then we are told what it is. I see this as a way to get my name choices pushed to the top of the list since she had DH wrapped around his finger. (I'm not really that evil! )
I made a color copy of today's ultrasound and laminated them so she can keep them. I also scanned them and drew on them with an app on my tablet to point out where everything is--it looks more like a baby than my 5.5 week blip. We are going to tell grandma and grandpa tonight (they already know) and she is so excited!
