Jessie J - Who You Are (Boombox Series) - YouTube

This just made me think about something I wanted to say. I wish someone had said this to me when I was pregnant for the first time. Pregnancy can be such an all encompassing life changing experience. For me, I let it completely take me over and I really lost sight of who I was -- and I really suffered for it. I stopped doing things I enjoyed, I gave in to the fatigue, laziness, so and so forth and I just stopped taking care of myself mentally and physically. Yes, this is about your baby and your child and making their life wonderful -- but you can't do that if you aren't ok. Part of taking care of your body is taking care of your mind. Don't forget to keep the things you love in your life. That's all! Soapbox picked up.

ITA! Don't let pregnancy take you away from being YOU! Even if you feel like crap... push through and do what you usually do, you WILL feel better!

We sometimes take "I am pregnant" too literally....we are a lot more than pregnant, its not the only thing we are!
