I was going to celebrate weaning with Buffalo Chicken something, but I'll have another baby before she's weaned! I miss spicy foods so much.
DD2 gets acid reflux if she gets too much spicy in my boob juice. SUCKS. At 1 month she had silent reflux and stopped breathing. Ended up in the PICU for a week. They said she'd get over it, but we aren't chancing it.
Yikes! That really stinks - buffalo is awesome. Can you eat anything right after breastfeeding if you've pumped and have an extra bottle handy?
We were chatting with our friends at a cafe and they had their 3 month old and the mama was talking about how she can't eat certain foods, and when she got to spicy foods, my hubby's eyes WIDENED. It was kind of hilarious but I couldn't say anything and let on in front of our friends. I know he wasn't worried about the foods I couldn't eat - I could totally tell he was worried about the foods I would no longer cook!
I am unable to pump. It just doesn't work, dries me up. =) We're connected at the boob for a while. I wanted to wean at 2 so we'll see. I might push it to right before the baby is born.
Yeah, I could eat anything save chocolate with DD1, and this one I had to stay away from spicy foods, peaches, and a few others. She's gotten over everything, but we haven't tried spicy food yet. Just too worried. We didn't like her turning grey.
