I'm worried there will be increased blood flow 'down there' making it worse than normal. But we're about to hit nicer weather, maybe hit the beach. Anyone gotten a wax during pregnancy?

My swimsuits have skirts, and half the time shirts on top. I am WHITE. I don't tan, I catch fire. lol

I will tell you that you can get sun spots while pregnant. They are permanent. I still have one on my boob from DD1.

Thanks for the tip on the sunspots; I'll have to be extra careful!

I live in FL and we just installed a pool last year and I have been dying to go swimming. It should warm up in March. I haven't gotten a wax before but I was thinking that it could be easier than trying to find a mirror to see past my big belly this summer. I have a zillion suits so I don't plan on buying more for this pregnancy unless things take a turn for the huge. When my first trimester is over and I tell my mom about the pregnancy I'm going to ask her how big her boobs got when she had me. If I buy new suits, I guess I can find a more modest one, but I hate to waste the money!

If anyone gets one sooner rather than later, report back on how that goes. I'm slightly scared but I have to say, I was wondering the same thing.

I've had plenty of waxes, the first was the worst. Having them right before a cycle start is painful (for me) because of the increased sensitivity. I love waxing over shaving because it lasts longer and is cleaner looking. But I'm afraid of more pain from the increased everything with pregnancy. I've asked several woman that do the wax and they all say they have preggo clients....but i would love to hear from someone with experience being preggers and waxing.

Good to know about sun spots, I'm pretty white too.

oh! I was wondering this same thing! I am looking forward to wearing a two piece because my belly will still be big enough to be cute but small enough to not look huge!

I *rarely* wear a 2 piece when I'm not pregnant because of the previous baby flab so it'll be nice to wear one this summer!

Now I'd wished I'd gone the laser hair removal route a while back..... Waxing has never been my friend, but I'm sure I'll not be able to contort around the appleseed come fall.

Shaving & grooming. I actually managed to shave all the way through my delivery. I shaved clean right before going into labor!

Luckily I don't need to get a biking wax, so I don't, but I do plan on getting a couple brazillian's toward the end of my pregnancy. I don't want to wear diapers post-partum without one. it is going to hurt though. I get sugar waxed and it is a lot better of a wax in that they get every last hair, but it does hurt a little more than regular waxing. I cuss very loudly thru most of the waxing session, lol.
