Ive thought it over, and Im pretty sure Im going to get him an "i love daddy" onesies, or bib, or something! (we usually dont really exchange gifts for valentines day since our Birthdays are both later this month.)
I think Dd and I are going to call his favorite card store in Hawaii (he plays Magic the Gathering) and give him a credit for there. Then send him a card. There's not a whole lot we can do from an ocean away lol.
Dd has fallen in love with a Hello Kitty Valentines bucket at wal-mart so we will get her that.
We aren't gifty so we may go out to get a little meal next weekend at a dockside kind of Florida style restaurant, enjoy some water views and sun, weather permitting. I would normally say I'd enjoy a Blue Moon and some oysters but its all off limits now!
I'm not normally a V-Day celebrator, but homeboy is so I guess we'll do dinner somewhere. I'd like some place we haven't been yet, something on the water would be nice if this weather sticks. The anniversary he made up for us is the next day, so it may be a two-fer. I do love the idea of an "I love Daddy" something, so I will shamelessly steal that and get him something.
I like the "I love daddy" idea too! A few days before Valentines last year DH proposed, so its sort of an anniversary of our engagement. He made a point to not propose on VDay because he thought it would be too clichéd. We'll do something special but really haven't planned it out yet.
