So since its winter and in pants all the time I don't shave as often as I would in warmer weather.....

Well when I had the unexpected appointment with the OB which included an internal exam I didn't shave and I sat there mortified! At least I had cute socks on!

I usually shave my legs and groom well down yonder when I know I will have someone in my business.

So my question, do you make sure to shave before OBGYN appointments?

I never shave down there. I shave my legs and arm pits, but I can't bear the itch, the ingrown hairs, and I feel like it just looks strange to me.

Cautiously expecting a little one sometime in June, and always remembering my 5 little ones that left too soon.

I don't shave my privates, but not too much hair grows there to begin with. Most of the times I shave my legs when I go. If I don't, I just warn the OB and laugh about it. Right now it's pants weather, and I'm really tired. I don't feel like shaving much. Like I even have time with an infant! lol But I don't grow much leg hair anyway. There are big patches where no hair grows on them. My mom said leftover Native American genes.

Yes, I try to. Though I'm so tired now that I feel I don't spend the time in the shower needed. I guess if I don't get around to it, my thinking is if SO can put up with it, so should anyone else.

I normally groom or try to. Sometimes I forget and I also warn the OB. When it's Winter I don't usually shave as much.

I do trim down there with an electric trimmer. It's only like 1/4" long, but it keeps me from having a jungle and yet avoid the itchy shaved feeling. I do shave my legs like 1-2x a week still, though.

I'm not too concerned about shaving for the doc. If I remember, I will but it's not a priority. They are used to seeing much, much worse than body hair! Lol

I happen to be a weirdo who just dislikes body hair, so I stay on top of this regardless, and it's a good thing - last time I went to the doctor, they decided they were going to do a vaginal ultrasound. Surprise, surprise, it was with a ultrasound machine trainer, a doctor, and a resident! Three people staring at my hoo ha! lol

I usually try to before appointments. For my first I was much more worried about it, now this time if I forget or don't get around to it I'm not going to stress, I'm sure he's seen much worse.

I have to shave everything (legs, pits, privates).. but not just for the dr. All the time. I have a weird hate for hair. I can't stand the way it makes me feel. It's so itchy and yuck!

I try to. I am just way too hairy and I try to keep it groomed for the most part. I even shaved when I went in for the delivery. I know they say it could cause infections. But I heard this horror story from a friend who didn't shave and when they stiched up the episiotomy, some hair got trapped and she had major pain, infection, had to remove and redo the stiches etc.

Yep! I try to shave everything before any sort of appointment. Even before I had my 2nd baby, I shaved at 39 weeks. It was tough, but I think I did pretty well

No, I don't make it a thing to do. They are used to looking at all sorts. They are medical professional people after all! I don't have too much hair anyway. And I can never really shave huge and pregnant anyway. lol

I try to keep up with my legs, but I don't really worry too much about it. I remember when I went into labor with my 2nd son that my OB kept raving about how I had painted my toenails right before going into labor. I kept trying to tell him it wasn't for the birth, I just felt like painting them the night before, lol. He didn't believe me. He was so shocked that I could still get down there to do it that he called additional nurses in just to see it, lol.
