to not really be having any symptoms? Based on my last period, I should be 5wks 3days, unless of course I ovulated later than what I thought. A couple weeks ago, I had a crazy heavy feeling in my uterus area, super sore boobs, and was really tired. Then that all went away. My boobs are tender now but not so bad that they can't be touched. I'm a little sleepy but nothing unusual. Once in a while a certain scent smells really strong to me, but not everything and only on occasion. The only thing I have noticed today is a terrible metallic taste in my mouth.

Is this normal? I feel like I should "feel" more pregnant?

Yup. It differs for everyone and each pregnancy. This time, it hit me around 5 weeks and 3-4 days. Hang in there - you will be soooooo sick soon enough!!

I don't really have symptoms either. I was really tired last week but this week I seem to have found some energy. I was lucky with my last two pregnancies that I never got sick so I'm hoping that happens again this time.

*whew* I'm glad it's not just me! I'm finding myself really paranoid that this is all just some dream I'm having, and that I will wake up one of these days and just magically not really be pregnant haha.

I swear I'm not a fruitcake.

It differs from person to person and even pregnancy to pregnancy!

I'm right there with you. This is my first and other than being tired, the lack of period and 7 tests, I'd never know. I probably won't totally believe it til I see the ultrasound.

Lurker-I'm a first time mom as well and I was feeling the same way as you. My whole first trimester I didn't get sick not one time, barely had tender boobs, no smells, no funny taste in my mouth. Nothing!! And here I am in the second trimester with so far a healthy baby. Guess what they say is true, every pregnancy is different and you are still early, your symptoms might come back full force!

Let me tell you, I know exactly how you feel! I have been writing about this for days now, how I do not have any symptoms. Some slight stomach cramps sometimes, some times I get a bit tired, and I'm going to pee more often. That's basically it. No tastes or smells bother me at all. I do not feel nauseous at all. I really think why it worries me far more is because with my first two pregnancies, I was horribly sick losing 30lbs the first time and 18lbs the second time. So this feeling good is very strange to me. I hang out here and on the September DDC and I can tell you there are lots of reports of women not having any or many symptoms. We are all worrying about it, which seems to be the norm and I'm starting to think it's more common than I thought!

I am right there with you. I actually took another test today because of my lack of symptoms. I am a bit sleepier than usual, my mouth tastes funny, and my sweet tooth has completely disappeared. I am craving sour fruits and sardines, but I am not sick at all and I was praying to the porcelain gods by this time with my son. Thankfully my test was nice and dark, but it still feels strange, doesn't it?

This is definitely blowing my mind. I'm sure though that within a few days I'll be barfing my brains out, or something marvelous and pregnant-like. I feel the same way, like I should take another HPT just to ease my mind, because when I got my positive, the line was definitely there but not very dark. I took one this morning and the line wasn't any darker than yesterday, which had me fretting (do you see a pattern here? I'm a worrier). Maybe if I hold off a couple days I will get a darker line and not be so neurotic.

Dont worry, I dont have any symptoms yet either. I didn't start feeling yucky until about 8 weeks with my daughter.

I'm puking a lot and wearing seabands 24/7 now and I still don't feel pregnant! I keep feeling it's all just a joke or the food was bad!

I was wondering this same thing today - granted I'm not far into it, the other times by now I felt "pregnant" with nausea, sore boobs, etc. Other than some occasional cramps, and being really tired (and oddly like someone else mentioned, I wanted sardines for the first time in my life yesterday), I don't feel anything else. Glad to know I'm not the only one!

Eww sardines? I hope I NEVER get that craving haha!

I have this feeling (a comical one, granted) that once I hit 6 weeks, my mind will be like "*dingdingding* it's time to start puking!" That will be just my luck.

I'm just really so glad that I can come here and vent to you ladies about things - the only person I have told besides my husband is my best friend. I feel like I want to ask questions to all my family members and things like that, but I really don't want anybody to know we're pregnant until the first trimester, because I'm scared something will happen before then.
