Instead of going out tonight, we decided to stay in and cook something special for dinner. So last night DH picked up some beautiful, huge ribeyes. I have been so excited for it all day, but just realized he will have to cook mine well! Yuck! Thats a borderline felony!!! Lol I might as well put some ketchup on it while Im at it!

I don't think steaks have to be totally well-done like hamburgers do. I thought most of the bacteria was on the outside, and you only had to worry about the inside with hamburgers since they are all mixed up. I love rare meat too so maybe I am making this up.

Whattoexpect.com say no undercooked meat at all. Americanpregnancy.org says medium well would be ok. Ill have him cook it with just a little pink in the center

I'm just cooking at home tonight. Nothing special....salad, Parmesan pork tenderloin, brown rice, and green beans. I think I'm going to make a strawberry cake with strawberry icing too.

Tomorrow night DH and I are going to dinner just the 2 of us...which NEVER happens! I'm super geeked for that.

I'm making chicken and rice soup tonight, the normal meal we had planned all along.

We are going out to dinner on Saturday, have a sitter and everything. So excited to celebrate both V-day and finding out we got a positive test.

Those steaks sound amazing! We are having homemade vegetarian sushi for dinner if I can get off my butt and start chopping and cooking the rice. I need a nap so badly I could cry, but I promised to make dinner tonight so off I go.

That sounds so good. No plans tonight, my husband is out of town until next week. Just me and the girls I was going to make chicken pot pie for supper, but I chose a nap instead.

I ended up ordering a steak when we went out tonight and I thought of you. I ordered it medium rare, but it ended up coming out medium. Maybe the waitress knew I was pregnant.

We had a heart shaped pizza for the kids, and a supreme pizza for DH and I. Nothing special, but easy for me!

That steak sounds good! My DH doesn't eat red meat, and I can't cook it, so I never eat any.

I wanted to pack in the nutrients so I made a kale pesto, and put it on top of seared salmon and mixed it in some whole wheat pasta. I also made some carrots cooked with a pink orange (I forget what it's called, but it's so weird/tasty) - DELISH and so healthy!

We ended up staying in because we both had headaches. I've become a super picky eater and last night was worse, so probably good that we stayed at home. I think I ended up eating bland eggs with green peppers and onions mixed in, followed by ice cream. Today is the anniversary he made up for us, so we may do something tonight. Which is good because I suddenly want garlic. And bread. Oh, Red Lobster biscuits......
