Is anyone else on progesterone? I started taking it today. I'm taking 200mg 3 times and I feel buzzed constantly. It's a very interesting feeling but it makes functioning a little difficult. Is this normal??

I only take it once a day and only before bedtime because it makes me groggy. The supppositories and shots don't make me groggy but they suck. Lol

Did they test your progesterone? Mine was 6 before I started taking it and less than a week later it is 26. It works

I take 200mg twice a day but I take the oral pill vaginally. I thought it was strange but it is very common. I have no side effects but I have heard taking it orally does have a lot.

I am only on the vaginal suppositories and I am definitely very far over in the "hate it" camp. That stuff is so gross, I cannot WAIT until I am 12 weeks and can stop taking it. No side effects so far, thankfully. I was slightly nauseous for a couple of days after, but it could have been a stomach bug. I don't really feel pregnant at all right now, honestly other than being more tired than usual and having some cravings.

Sorry it is making you feel a little wonky.

I feel a bit zonked, too, but am not having nearly as many side effects as I expected. 100mg 2 x per day vaginally. Not a big fan that they make the pills pink, so every time I go to the bathroom, my heart skips a beat until I realize that the color is coming from the pill. I've wondered if I need to take more, bc I've been getting fairly crampy.

Not this pregnancy but in previous ones, I never had any side effects though.
