So I had my u/s today, the tech said before even starting that she can't show me or tell me anything which I knew! But she was super nice and only needed to do an abdominal u/s to see what she needed, not vaginal at all. It was done pretty quick and she said she seen everything she had to see and it was good!! So I will find out the actual results in a few days I guess, but I'm happy she gave me a hint that its all good!!

Wow, I thought ours were bad! lol We have two hospitals here. The main hospital, it has half our OBGYN's, will show you the screen, point out things you ask about, show you hair, etc. Our surgical hospital, the one I'm attending this go, aren't nearly as accommodating, but they will at least let you see the screen.

When you have the tight-lipped ones, you only need to worry when you are asked either "Have you been spotting?" or "So when is your next doctor's appointment?" U/S tech questions of doom.

My favorite tech's are at a nearby town, and they will tell you up front what's going on. At 8 weeks last time I was told, "I'll tell you all about the baby if there is in fact on in there, and I'll let you know if there isn't." I had a missed miscarriage a few months before that.

Oooh that must have been frustrating- your baby was on screen right there and you couldn't look!

Wow, that would drive me nuts! Only time that's happened was when I went to the ER for bleeding.

I hope you get a call fast with the results!!

I'm thankful that here in Texas my o/b is the one who does all my u/s's so I don't have to try to figure out a u/s tech that I am not used to.
