I am so sorry you got such stressful news, but so glad to read so many positive stories here. Praying you go on to have a completely stress free pregnancy.

Wanted to chime in here.... my BFF has a bicornuate uterus and wanted to call her and ask her about this. She has had three healthy children. She carried all of her kids past 35 weeks and her babies were never in the NICU. Her OB saw her every 2 weeks from 12 weeks until 28 weeks, and then once a week after that. She had about 2 plus weeks bed rest with each one, all were c-sections. She told me to tell you that this doesn't mean you can't have babies and that you just need to stay strong and take it easy until you can see your doctor again. She (her name is April) will be praying for you. Good luck honey! I'm so sorry you had to get such stressful news.

Thank you so much everyone for your prayers and much needed words of support and concern. I had myself a good cry, and Im feeling pretty calm and ok at the moment.(except for my splitting headache from crying hysterically for 4 hours) Im still scared, and having a million "what if's" going through my head, but Im in a much better place now than I was this morning. One hurdle at a time....Lets hope the baby is implanted in an ok spot, and just take it one day at a time from there.

Lurking here as well but I wanted to offer you some hope! I found out when I was pregnant with Megan that I have a unicornate uterus. So instead of 2 halves I have 1 half(complete right side with fallopian tube and left ovary floating around). I had a m/c before having Megan(not sure if it was related to my uterus or not) then got pregnant with my daughter and she was born at 36wks for pre-e and I'm 18wks pregnant with another girl. I haven't had any issues with preterm labor so I'm sending my best for you!

Stephanie, I'm praying for you and your precious baby. The doctor didn't guarentee you won't have a normal pregnancy though, right? Try to hold on to all the hope you can and when you can't hold on anymore, reach out cause we're all here to have tons of hope for you :hugs: Please try to keep your chin up.

I was going to mention the bicornate uterus as well. I hope that's what they're seeing wrong and it's not ectopic. My first u/s, they told me my son was ectopic due to my levels and they thought he was positioned in the wrong part (they thought my cervix) but luckily another doctor looked at it. They were fixing to do a D&C without really consulting me. Bad experience.

I hope you get great news next week. I'm sorry about the bladder but I think you can still get your miracle. Hopefully it was just a bad u/s.

The last time I was pg (ended in m/c), they thought at my 7.5 week scan that it was a cornual pregnancy--meaning an ectopic pregnancy that implanted in the very corner of my uterus, right by where the fallopian tube enters. A week later they did another scan and it was right in place. Sometimes it's really hard from early scans to see clearly what's going on. Hang in there!
