So my m/s is in full force today with acid reflux. I thew up some bile and I'm desperately trying to keep some pizza rolls down. Not good for me I know, but I don't want to eat anything today! Someone told DH that slim fast might help me get my nutrients but that person is kind of a jerk so I wanted a second opinion? I wouldn't only eat that, but right now I know I'm not healthy today seeing as I don't even want to drink water, but a chocolate slim fast sounds good.
Anyone have any advice?
Excuse me if my typing is bad There's probably a baby in my arms.
Oh Summer, I feel so bad for you. I am having bad morning sickness and am so miserable but I don't have hyperemesis and can't imagine it.
My RE told me to eat or drink whatever I felt like eating - she said it doesn't matter as long as I am not drinking beer or eating brie, etc. I have been living off PB&J, Mac N Cheese (Kraft), any kind of pretzely cracker thing, and hot dogs. Yup, good old nitrate filled hotdogs. I am only eating one a day at the most - it was all I could eat a couple days ago. I didn't have one today. I think anything that has nutrients that you can keep down is good.
Feel better soon!

I've been living off of water and whatever else will stay down or go down. I think Boost shakes sound best though because they are given to anorexic patients that can't hold down or let solids go down (true story). Slim fast I don't think would be good because of the whole "dieting" thing that goes along with them. I'm not an expert though and agree, you should DEFINITELY go with whatever you can keep down. Good luck and FX things get easier for you!

I am wondering if slimfast has some kind of weight loss ingredient etc. I used to drink Ensure to gain weight before my last pregnancy and continued it through first trimester. It was okayed by my doctor. Hope you feel better
