What do you eat when you are hungry, but don't really feel like eating?

I don't feel sick, unless I drink to much water, but not much interest in food. I'm sure it will pass soon, but I figure it will affect my energy level of I am not eating. The past two evenings my supper had been chips.

Cottage cheese. I don't know why but I can usually stomach it pretty well if I don't think about the texture or appearance.

Crackers are good for me (goldfish) when I know I should eat. I've had little to no real appetite this time around. But when I do eat I end up being punished with nausea. It's a lose-lose. Small snacks do help.

There is rarely a time when I don't have much appetite. I find, with this pregnancy, my stomach feels empty all the time and everything tastes amazing. The one or two times that I've had that empty stomach feeling, but really didn't want to eat, I had cheese and sticks or yogurt. Yesterday morning I had no mind for breakfast so I drank a glass of milk. I find if I can at least get some protein down, it will keep me full longer.

I have had this off and on with this pregnancy and I find that protein keeps my energy level up and I can usually choke it down. Yogurt, meat, hummus and crackers, something like that.

Goldfishie crackers work here. You might want to be careful, depending on your dairy tolerance, of cheese and yogart. I started this pregnancy thinking those would be my go to snacks and boy was I wrong.

TMI WARNING!!!


The flavor lays weird in my stomach and I burp up the most awful taste from it which makes me gag!

Cereal and applesause. I'm the exact same way. I usually lose about 10 pounds in the first trimester because of being sick + more appetite. It's just really hard for me to eat. It's bad.

Goldfish is all I crave too! So weird that a lot of you also said the same thing! ha

When I'm really nauseous I can usually get down some chicken broth soup like chicken noodle (minus the chicken for some reason I am not liking chicken anymore)

I eat so much to keep the nausea at bay...I am no help...soup and crackers best though! Also I am craving protein but can't eat chicken
