Finn's pregnancy announcement t-shirt just arrived and I am ecstatic.
My mom's birthday is next Wednesday and since all my brothers and sister are going to bet there with their families, I figured it would be the perfect time. I can't put it off much longer than that. I see my family way too often.
Should I just have him wear it there, or do you have other suggestions?
Here is the t-shirt...

Love it! I would just have him wear it and see who notices first.

So adorable!!!

My two thoughts on that day would be:

1) just let him wear it there.

2) I'd let him wear a different shirt, then pretend to spill something on it, make a big deal about having to change his shirt etc. and then put on the 'big brother' shirt and see what happens. If you keep making a big deal about the spill/having to change his shirt etc. you should have everyone attention at one time This is something I'd do, lol!

We're going to a restaurant for her birthday and now my brother suggested we bring the cake to the restaurant.
How am I going to pull this off?

So cute! Unless someone in your family is always checking out clothes, I like the idea of drawing attention somehow. Maybe show a few minutes late with the cake so all eyes are on you all. It's amazing what everyday things people overlook unless it's shoved in their face. My SO did the T-shirt with his ex, announcing their son and they had to point it out after an hour or so. I'm hoping this little gummi bear gets my power of observation, not theirs.

Awww That shirt is cute. I really like the idea of spilling something the other shirt and having to change his shirt then while coming back your DH can mention "how cute his new shirt is" that will grab at least one person's attention having to read and look at it.

Yeah, I mentioned that idea because I also had the same thought about people not noticing it if you just walk in already with him wearing it. That would be a real let down if the didn't notice it Besides I'd also want quite a few people noticing it at the same time, kwim?

You could still do the 'accident/spilling' part in the restaurant, couldn't you? Maybe have his grandma put the shirt on him after the 'spill'?

Haha I'm all for sitting him down, taking his jacket off, and not saying a word. Like sneaking in. The first person who reads it will do a double take and start asking "does that say..." lol

I love it! You could put a little hoodie over it and once everyone is settled take the hoodie off and see how long before anyone notices

I'd go with a hoodie over the top of it. Take it off, & then see how long it takes everyone to realise
