I haven't really set a budget on maternity clothes. I've gotten tons of hand me down maternity clothes from my cousins that I will pass along along with what I add to it when I'm done. I bought some summer dresses (flowing but not maternity), from a dollar store. I also bought some hippie looking cover up tops at a beach store when I was on vacation. They are not maternity either, one size fits all, and I've gotten so many compliments. I've gotten some tank tops and jeans (that I made into shorts) off of eBay. I bought a bunch of gap tank tops (not maternity) in large and XL since they stretch so nicely. I'm still able to fit in my Pre-pregnancy mediums. So I'll wear those tanks when I'm not pregnant. Wear lots of athletic shorts from anywhere from Walmart to gap that are not maternity. Like Capri leggings or yoga pants. Maternity or not. Bought a few maternity tanks from old navy that I can probably wear not pregnant. And some maternity shorts and a bra from motherhood. I just buy what I'm comfortable in and what looks cutest. I try to go for things (maternity or not) I can wear when I'm not preggo.
