So I tried to stop taking the zofran because I don't like taking medicine in general, especially pregnant apparently...well baby did not agree. Woke up and puked four times in less than four hours
my lovely dh is going to try and get me a rush prescription and I told him the next person to tell me ginger ale and saltines will help I an going to smack threw up ginger bran and saltines so far today alone. Ugh this is so hard and I feel like poo. Sorry for the vent rant I am just so tired and hungry I caved and took an old zofran I had from December for the flu..it was like heaven.

I'm sorry. You're lucky zofran worked for you. It didn't really help me and gave me a killer headache I'm glad you are getting another prescription and ya, ginger ale and crackers don't work for me either. Unfortunately, nothing works for me.

Zofran makes me sicker so I was stuck with other things previous pregnancies. They didn't stop the vomiting either. I know what you mean about saltines. I had a day where I tried and tried to nibble those. All I did was puke them up every ten minutes.

I am so sorry my second dose of the day doesn't work as well as the first so a few times I've thought about stopping it. I usually make it an hour past dose time and then panic that ill send myself into a downward spiral. Puking once or twice a day is so much better than all day everything.

Don't try to be a hero. You need the med for a reason. Do a search- Denmark just released a study last month that zofran causes no harm while pg.

sorry girl. You are lucky that zofran works for you. I had such horrid side effects from it I can't take it. My doc has offered it to me several times, but I know it won't help and will just make it worse.

I'm so sorry for you girls that can't take it ((hugs))

It does not work completely for me so I am on 2other meds as well but if I don't take zofran I literally vomit none stop and have to be hospitalized so the side effects are far better then the alternative!

I agree though do not put yourself through anything you don't have to take it until you really don't need to!!!!
