I've been so emotional lately but I feel like I can't get it out (I think it is the progesterone - happened before when I was on progesterone only BC) so I am thinking if I watch a seriously sad movie it will make me cry and help me to feel a little better.

I would try yoga or something but the thought of being physical makes me want to barf.

So, what are your favorite sad movies?

Can't say I have any faves of that kind, but What Dreams May Come will definitely have you crying from beginning to end. I cry at everything now. I cried watching Atlantis a couple days ago. I cry during Tinker Bell movies and Lilo and Stitch.

But if you want a hard core cry movie, try What Dreams May Come.

Definitely the notebook, I watched October Baby a few days ago and cried like I hadn't in a long time. It has a religious theme though.

For me the end of Forrest Gump and Pay It Forward. I love Forrest Gump, but I block out the part at the end, when he's talking to Jenny. And Pay It Forward.... I just can't even acknowledge that ending. I seriously, not even pregnant, turn the movie off for a few and recreate my own ending.

Beaches and What Dreams May Come are tear jerkers for me too.

And of course when Snape, in the second half of Deathly Hallows. And Dobby. I'm such a dork.

For me it's Armageddon, I remember the first time seeing in theatres, my sisters and I cried so much at the end and then when my mom picked us up and asked how the movie was we all started crying again.

I have to agree, "What Dreams May Come," has me boohoo'ing like a baby through the entire movie pretty much. I love this movie though and will take the red, poofy eyes and stuffy nose to watch it.

"The Notebook" makes me cry too at different times.

"The Time Traveler's Wife" makes me cry when I'm NOT pregnant so I can only imagine what will happen now lol.

"The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button" made me cry too.

Oldie but goody that made me cry, "Titanic." It's not the fact it's Leo Dicaprio, it's the emotion behind the story and knowing the history and tragedy. I'm a Titanic buff :-\

No matter how many times I watch it I cry like a baby every time I watch The Notebook. It's my go to movie if I need to cry.

And yes to Armageddon too.

I'm trying to think of what else... Hmmm... Maybe pull up some YouTube videos of births or military homecomings? Those get me too.

Thanks ladies!

Unfortunately, I am really hard to make laugh by watching a movie. I did find Bridesmaids hilarious though. I could watch the best stand up comics and still not laugh. In real life I can laugh easily, just not when watching TV or movies, not sure why, it's weird.

And every time I watch a baby story and the baby comes out I cry.
