Has anyone else tried this??

I started taking Natural Calm (magnesium powdered supplement) because I read an article that MS is caused partially due to lack of magnesium because our pregnant bodies can't absorb magnesium as efficiently so anything we're getting from food is not as bioavailable as it was before..

and my MS is GONE. I'm 8 weeks... so this should be the height of it, and I really thought I was in for it around 6/7 weeks when it was getting worse by the day... starting taking this and i'm all better. I get it a little bit in the evenings if I eat too much (I can only eat small amounts right now it's weird).

and GREAT side effect-- it makes you go to the bathroom. bye bye bloat. soooo just thought I'd put it out there for anyone else suffering from MS/indigestion/constipation/bloatedness.

Everything I've read says it's safe for pregnancy, but ask your doc/midwife if you want to be sure

I take a regular magnesuim supplement. My OB said it was fine to take. I have taken it for a few years now for RLS. It helps me a lot too.

Wow thats great that its working for you!! I took and epsom salt bath abt a week back thinking of the magnesium thing. I actually ended up throwing up more than I normally do. Of course one bath is hardly any indication of whether it works or not...but that put me off the magnesium thing. I am almost out of the woods...I guess I will justs tick it out another couple of weeks!
